Background
I am a consultant and registered engineer based in Melbourne, Australia. I am the founder of Astory™ Education and director of Asterya Pty Ltd. Before all of this I was the owner of a high-traffic website and an ethical hacker.
I have a hobby called teaching physics and engineering, I kept it for 16 years and still counting.
Just so it happens that my hobby assisted many people in getting into high-ranking universities such as Harvard, MIT, and various medical schools.
Before becoming a high-achieving student, I failed most of my subjects before year 12.
My friends believed I would have dropped out of high school, and my parents thought I might never make it to the university.
Before I was able to create miracles in other people’s lives, I first created one on my own.
I understand how it feels when everyone walks away from you and hope is lost,
when you find yourself alone amid a lightless place.
I will always be there for my students, cheer them up and help them stay motivated.
I am known by many parents as a “magician”, but I am known by friends simply as a guy who never gives up trying.
I enjoy helping others to understand, and above all, I am more of a friend.
Experience
- I have been tutoring for 16 years.
- I have worked with high-profile clients and ensured confidentiality was maintained.
- I taught the entire syllabus independently without the need for a textbook.
- I have delivered a large amount of knowledge in a short amount of time.
- I have taught a large variety of students (including students with ADHD and autism conditions), and different sizes of classes.
- I have always been at the forefront when it comes to utilizing the latest technologies for my teaching; I even went to the extreme of developing my own technologies because some did not yet exist.
- I have taught students across Australia, China, the UK and the USA concurrently, and have consistently gone to great lengths to meet their needs, including travelling internationally to work with them in person.
Most of my students came from high-ranking private schools such as: Mount Scopus Memorial College , Caulfield Grammar School, Lauriston girls' school, Camberwell Grammar School, Camberwell Girls Grammar, Scotch College, Trinity Grammar School, Melbourne Grammar School, Haileybury College, Presbyterian Ladies' College, etc...
The improvements in my student's marks were significant, and in many cases, when enough time was given, I was able to transform a "Fail" student into an "A+" student.

In 2020, 100% of my students that started early Achieved a study score of 40 and above. (top 8% of the entire state)
One student from my 2020 class achieved perfect raw study score of 50 in both Physics and Math Methods (both taught by me in advance)

In 2019, 90% of my students Achieved a study score of 40 and above in Physics. (top 8% of the entire state)
A student from my 2019 class achieved a perfect study score of raw 50.

In 2017, 80% of my students Achieved a study score of 42 and above in Physics. (top 6% of the entire state)

In 2015, 90% of my students Achieved a study score of 40 and above in Physics. (top 8% of the entire state)
Among them, some were getting "Fail"(below 55%) grades before they started seeing me.
When the school fails, I was there to make sure my students succeed.
I was often been referred to as the “magician”, because I often make the impossible possible.
